The Peer Mentoring Program is designed to assist first year college students in making a successful transition to college life.  Peer Mentors are also available to high school students registered in Dual Credit courses at Humber.  Follow this link for more information on the Dual Credit program

Peer Mentors are upper year students selected to help new students transition into their first year at college. A Peer Mentor will act as a guide by introducing new students to college life and post secondary expectations. A Mentor will help navigate the college campus, listen to questions and recommend campus resources.

If you are a new Humber or Guelph Humber student and are interested in joining a mentorship program, please visit the First Year Experience Program.

Benefits of having a Peer Mentor:

  • Meet new people!
  • Gain insight into college resources
  • Develop confidence in your own abilities
  • Ongoing Peer support
  • Explore personal academic and career options
